- To my little buddy Don that left this world long before his time. He was pure soul, constantly smiling, and was always helping others. After contracting HIV he was in denial until finally pneumonia and other medical issues made him address his situation in an LA hospital. His dearest friends were there to be with him and help. We stayed with Don until the bitter end…his best friends were all next to him as his medical monitors began to fade.
- DIFFA and the fight against AIDS. Thanks AT&T.
- To my “little buddy” Don Thompson who passed two years ago from HIV/AIDS at age 39. If the world had been less judgmental and more compassionate I believe Don would have been less ashamed of this sickness and sought treatment sooner. Thanks to DIFFA and people like the Resource Center of Dallas…both those living with HIV/AIDS and their friends and families who love them. Shannon Johnson
